+++ INTRACOM supplied INT-600 Public Phones to Malawi,
Africa +++
INTRACOM has supplied a large number of INT-600 Public
Phones to Malawi Telecommunications Ltd. (MTL) of Malawi, Africa.
MTL is the state-owned Telecom Operator in Malawi providing
this African country with wire-line, data and internet services.
The INT-600 Public Phone, designed and produced by INTRACOM,
is the latest addition to INTRACOM’s highly successful range of Public
Phones series.
The ÉÍÔ-600 operates by means of a scratch-card and
it is supervised and managed by an Intelligent Network (IN) Platform,
thus giving additional network flexibility and reducing the operational
costs.
The new Public Phones have already been installed and
operate successfully.
The new Public Phones have helped MTL to expand and
strengthen its presence in areas with low tele-density, offering better
quality of services to the Malawian citizens.
