INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS participates in DEFENDORY 2006 +++
INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS participates in DEFENDORY INTERNATIONAL 2006, the 14 th specialized exhibition of conventional systems for national defense on land, sea, air. The exhibition is organized by the Institute of Industrial Exhibitions and takes place at the OLP Exhibition Center, Piraeus, Greece, from October 3 rd to October 7 th 2006.
The INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS exhibition booth ( Νο 53-56 and 81-83) occupies an ample space of 300 sq.m., where the company exhibits almost all its products and systems, such as VHF&HF radio systems, FQUAD microwave links, SECLINE cryptographic equipment, aircraft self-protection systems, missile electronics (telemetry, power supply and field test equipment), etc. The visitors will also be able to watch five (5) live demos of the systems: WISPR-Net, WISPR, DNR WISPR , Broadband Radio Links, and the thermal imager " Ophelius " that is used in the Leopard 2 HEL tank.
In the exhibition participate most of the international leading international defense manufacturers. Dr. George Troullinos, CEO of INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS, gave a speech during the convention of the Federation of Greek Defense Equipment Manufacturers that took place on October 2 nd 2006. The title of his speech was: "Research & Development as a means of competitiveness and participation in the European Defense Agency (EDA)."
