+++ A €50M framework contract was awarded by the
EU Informatics Directorate to a consortium with INTRASOFT International,
a member of INTRACOM Group +++
ESP-DIMA, one of the primary IT projects of the European
Union, budgeted at 50 million Euro, was awarded, following an international
tender, to a consortium of INTRASOFT International (member
of INTRACOM Group of Companies), Trasys, Sword and TXT.
This constitutes another INTRASOFT International great
achievement within the highly competitive European Union market, confirming
the leading role the company plays in the area of IT services provision,
in which the company has been lately presenting significant achievements.
ESP-DIMA represents services to be offered by the Informatics
Directorate of EU (the central IT department of the European Commission)
to the entirety of the Commission's Directorates General (DGs) and Departments.
The project, which involves provision of software development and IT systems
maintenance services, started in December 2004 with an initial duration
of 2 years and an extension possibility for one more year. The current estimates for
ESP-DIMA indicate resource requirements of 50,000 mandays per year.

that the company has been recognised and earned the trust of EU International
Public Organizations. INTRASOFT International's customer list includes
almost the entirety of EU Bodies, such as the European Central Bank, the
European Parliament, the European Investment Bank, the European Audit
Council, the European Court of Justice, the European Financial and Social Commission as well
as the majority of the European Commission's General Directorates (DGs).
