Board of Directors

The founder and majority shareholder of the Intracom Group who in 1977 envisioned the creation of an advanced technology hub in Greece and has been a leading member of the Greek business community for more than 40 years. He holds degrees in Physics and Electronics and is an active sponsor of leading educational, cultural, athletic and business initiatives in Southeast Europe. In 1997 he became a John Harvard Fellow after establishing the Kokkalis Program at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. In 1998 he founded the non-profit Kokkalis Foundation, focusing on educational and regional development. A fluent speaker of English, German and Russian, he also speaks Romanian, Italian, Bulgarian and conversational Serbian and French. For many years he was the president and major shareholder of Olympiacos FC, Greece’s leading football club.

Dr. Klonis holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of London. He has received a number of educational awards and scholarships from the Greek Government, the Bank of Greece, and the “Alexander S. Onassis” Foundation. Dr. Klonis served as a Senior Economist in the Research Department of the Bank of Greece until March 1994, as a Professor at Deree College (1987-1997) and as a Member of the Council of Economic Advisors to the Mayor of Athens (1990 to 1992).

Dr. Klonis joined INTRACOM in April 1994 and has been INTRACOM Group’s Chief Financial Officer and Member of the Board of Directors since October 1995. He has served as General Manager, Finance & Administration (1994-2004), as Executive General Manager of the Corporate Center (2005-2006), as Executive Director, Group Financial Management (2006-2011) and as Vice-Chairman & Deputy CEO (2011-2013).

In January 2014 he was appointed Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM HOLDINGS and Chairman of the BoD of INTRACOM HOLDINGS’ subsidiaries (namely INTRASOFT INTERNATIONAL, INTRAKAT, INTRACOM DEFENSE ELECTRONICS/IDE and HELLAS ONLINE), which place he held until December 2018. He was also a Member of the BoD of INTRALOT (1995-2020). From July 2016 until December 2018 he also served as INTRACOM HOLDINGS Chairman and CEO and from December 2018 until December 2022 as Vice Chairman and CEO.

Following the successful transformation of INTRACOM to an investment company, since January 2023 Dr. Klonis is the Vice Chairman of INTRACOM HOLDINGS BoD and Chairman of the recently established subsidiary INTRACOM PROPERTIES, whilst remaining Chairman of the BoD of KEKROPS S.A. since 1999.

Vice Chairman of Intracom Holdings, Chairman and CEO of Intracom Ventures since December 2022, Chairman of Intracom Aviation since February 2023. He also served as Member of BoD of Intracom Defense-IDE until June 2023, Vice Chairman of Intradevelopment until May 2023, Chairman of the BoD of Intrasoft International until October 2021, when its acquisition by the Danish Netcompany Group was completed, as well as Vice Chairman of the BoD of Intrakat until July 2021, CEO of Intracom Holdings until July 2016 and prior to that, as the company’s Deputy CEO and Business Development Executive. Before joining Intracom Holdings he served as Corporate Strategy Director, Deputy Executive Officer and CEO of Hellas Online until November 2014, when the company was acquired by Vodafone Greece. Since 2014 served as an elected member at the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) as well as Chairman of SEV’s Innovation Committee up to 2022. He holds a BSc degree in International Relations and Economics from Boston University and an Executive Graduate Diploma in Finance from Columbia University.

Mr. Dimitris Theodoridis is Vice Chairman and Executive Member of INTRACOM HOLSINGS’s Board of Directors and a Non-Executive Member of the BoD of INTRALOT. He has previously served as Chairman of the BoD of INTRADEVELOPMENT, Executive Member of the BoD of INTRAKAT, while he has worked in the Business Development Division of the INTRALOT Group. He has also served as Athletic Manager of Olympiacos F.C.

An Athens College graduate, he holds a BA degree in Economics from Tufts University Boston.

Mr. Papavasileiou with more than 22 years of professional experience, is the Founder of KPC FINANCE, which provides specialized solutions in a wide framework in the financial sector, with
an impressive track record on financial management, driving profitable growth and implementing complex corporate restructuring. Since 2021, Mr. Papavasileiou also serves Real Consulting Group as a BoD member and since 2011, as an advisor. In addition, he has served as the CFO of large and well-known group of companies in Greece, listed in ATHEX, and has led major successful projects for acquisitions, mergers and capital increases. He has been involved in positions of financial executive leadership over 15 years in companies of different industries, obtaining great experience and know-how. Mr. Papavasileiou was born in 1976 and he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Patras in Greece.

Mr. Ioannis Tsoumas holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has over 35 years of experience in the field of finance, the full range of accounting functions, and tax legislation. During his career, he has received several distinctions for his competencies and achievements, and he attended numerous professional seminars on Accounting, Auditing and Taxation acquiring in-depth knowledge and expertise. Prior to his role as a Non-Executive Member of the company’s BOD, he held senior management positions in Accounting and Finance in several companies, among them Grundig of the Hatzimichalis Group (1980 – 1987) and Intracom Group (1999 – 2016), until his retirement in October 2016.

Dionysia Xirokosta has graduated from Athens Law School and holds an LL.M. degree in European Law from the University of Essex.  Member of the Athens Bar Association since 1998, she is a Consultant of Corporate Affairs at “Hellenic Hypermarkets Sklavenitis S.A.” responsible for strategy, regulatory compliance and communication with supervisory authorities. She is an Independent Non-Executive Member of the BoD of “Pancreta Bank”, an Independent Non-Executive Member of the BoD of “Intracom Holdings”, an Independent Non-Executive Member of the BoD of “Intralot”, Of Counsel in the Law Firm  “Tsimbanoulis & Partners”.  She is also involved in Corporate Governance and ESG issues.

She has served  as Director of Legal Services and then as General Director, for two full terms, in the Hellenic Competition Commission, representing Greece before the OECD and the European Commission. She then moved to the retail sector, in the position of Human Resources Director at “Hellenic Hypermarkets Sklavenitis S.A.” for three years.

She has extensive in the fields of free competition, regulatory compliance, public administration and human resources management.

Ms Lazari holds a Bachelor in Economics from the Economic University of Athens, a Master of Science in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the LSE and a European Master in Multimedia and Audiovisual Business Administration from a European interuniversity post-graduate program. Currently, she is Senior Advisor to the Board of Domius Capital Advisors LLP (a London-based, FCA regulated, Corporate Finance Advisory Boutique focusing on the provision of Strategic Advice, M&A execution and Private Capital raising for Funds and corporates), as well as member of the Investment Committee of Economists Professional Fund. She has long-term experience in both the private and public sector. She also has knowledge of the international political and economic environment and proven experience in multinational/multicultural negotiations.

In the private sector she has served in senior managerial positions mainly in the financial sector, among others, Deputy Governor/Executive Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Agricultural Bank of Greece – Senior Advisor to the management, Emporiki/Commercial Bank of Greece.  She has also participated as a member of BoDs in numerous companies and organizations i.a. Athex Exchange Group, Selonda group/ fisheries, Perseas/ fish feed, Hellenic Sugar Industry SA.

In the public sector she has served as senior advisor mainly on issues of public policy preparation and implementation. She has also participated in inter-ministerial committees on important economic and social issues.
